It seems as if everyone and their grandmother has a Faceboook page these days. A majority of people can't go a day without either checking the Facebook status updates of their friends or updating their own status; many people do so multiple times throughout the day. Facebook is a great way to keep up with friends, reconnect with old friends, stay in touch with new friends no matter where they live and it has also become a great business tool for those who know how to properly utilize its capabilities.

Some small businesses just don't have the time or budget to spend on expensive and varied forms of advertisements such as billboards, commercials, online ads, print ads, business cards and more. Rather than utilizing every form of advertisement, it's better to instead use a few extremely useful advertisements. And having a Faceboook page has become one of the best tools to both advertise and keep clients and customers informed of what's going on in the business. Rather than hire someone to design a Web site, small business owners can instead have a free Facebook page.

With a Facebook page business can interact with customers, keep them up to date on what's new with the business, upload photos of products and can even offer special online-only deals and coupons. Businesses will also have the opportunity to reach a wider audience since people from all over the United States and the world access Facebook on a daily basis; there's no telling who might stumble on a business' page or who will recommend that business to someone else.

There are several small businesses who have already greatly benefited from Facebook, and many of them say that without Facebook they wouldn't be nearly as successful as they are. Facebook is also a great way for businesses to allow customers and clients to offer feedback. The only thing more important than keeping in touch with customers and clients is listening to their ideas and suggestions. After all, they may have just the idea to make a business even better and more successful.

Facebook, however annoying or addictive some people may find it, has become a powerful networking tool, especially since having a strong online presence has become so important for businesses and certain public figures in recent times. With a little thought and effort businesses small and large can increase their audience and number of customers exponentially.
