If you had something to sell, and you knew exactly where to put it to insure that it would be sold, would you do it?

Of course, you would, and you would probably pay quite the dear premium to anyone who could identify that spot, because spots like that are not as obvious as one would think.

My friends, that thing you have to sell is your business. And the spot you need to stake out is the World Wide Web. More specifically, the mobile World Wide Web.

Mobile devices are fast becoming the new and dominant wave in consumer technology, and all demographics essential to the longevity of any business are fully comfortable with, and even prefer the convenience and expediency of online commerce. If your website is not functional on mobile devices, you're missing out on all the commerce you could have.

Even the standard work station is fast becoming obsolete as mobile devices contain almost as much functionality as desktops of previous generations. 4G smartphones allow users to buy, use and review products in real time, and each generation will only get faster. Any business that does not keep up with this pace will be left behind.

Even the biggest corporations with all the money in the world to throw around are focusing their funds on building and maintaining mobile presences. A search of any company that you know will certainly bring up an m dot site, e-commerce functionality and 4G compatible features.

The best part about this, though, is that these things are not expensive at all to implement. Anyone can modify a teaser to play on a mobile device, and even if you do not have the technology at all, you can piggyback off of social media and video sites. Put a video on YouTube or an ad on Facebook and you have instant mobile functionality!

The bottom line is businesses in this day and age can not afford to miss their customer base by missing out on the mobile revolution. Make sure you keep up with your customers and your business is sure to succeed.
